#CheckKaropH

Does your baby's skincare have the right pH? #CheckKaropH
What It Means

#CheckKaropH is a promise, not a slogan.

Most baby brands say “gentle” and “safe.” None of them let you check. We do. We put the proof right in the box — two pH testing strips, so you can verify our promise with your own eyes.

Why pH matters for your baby

1
The Problem
Baby skin has a natural pH of 5.5. Most baby products sit at pH 8–10 — a mismatch that weakens the skin barrier and causes dryness and irritation.
2
The Fix
Every Gentle Touch product is certified at pH 5.5 — exactly matched to your baby’s natural skin pH. Not approximately. Exactly.
3
The Proof
We don’t ask you to trust the label. We give you 2 pH strips with every order — test ours, test your current one, see the difference.

Our Story

It started with a question no one could answer.

When our own children were born, we read the back of every bottle. “Gentle.” “Safe.” Every brand said the same thing — but none could show us why.

So we asked a simple question: if baby skincare is really this gentle, why can’t we see the proof? That question had no answer in the Indian market — so we built one.

“We didn’t want to be another brand asking parents to trust a label. We wanted to be the brand that hands them the proof — in the box.”

That’s how #CheckKaropH was born — a promise we made to ourselves before we made it to anyone else.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is pH 5.5 really that important for baby skin?

Yes — critically so. A newborn’s skin has a natural acid mantle at pH 5.5 that acts as a protective barrier against bacteria, allergens, and moisture loss. Products with a higher pH (most conventional baby washes sit at pH 7–10) disrupt this barrier, leading to dryness, redness, and increased sensitivity. Matching the skin’s natural pH preserves this barrier and keeps your baby’s skin healthy.

How do I use the pH test strips that come in the box?

It’s simple — dip the strip into the product for 2 seconds, remove it, and compare the colour to the chart on the strip packaging within 15 seconds. A reading of 5–6 (yellowish on most strips) confirms the product is skin-safe for your baby. You can also test your current baby wash to see the difference for yourself.

Are Gentle Touch products recommended by pediatricians?

Yes. All Gentle Touch products are widely recommended by pediatricians across Gujarat and formulated specifically for newborn and infant skin. They are sulphate-free, paraben-free and enriched with aquaxyl and organic Calendula — clinically recognised ingredients for soothing sensitive baby skin.

Are these products safe for newborns?

Absolutely. Our formulations are designed from the ground up for newborn skin — the most sensitive skin type. The tear-free formula means no stinging if it gets near the eyes, and the pH 5.5 balance ensures the skin’s natural barrier is never disrupted. Suitable from day one.

What if I’m not satisfied with the product?

We stand behind every bottle. If you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason, reach out to us on WhatsApp at +91 78599 08088 or email us and we’ll make it right. Your baby’s skin — and your trust — matter more to us than any sale.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Yes! We offer COD across India. You can also pay online via UPI, cards, or net banking. Free shipping is available on orders above a certain value — check the cart for the latest threshold.
